Country Commercial Category Assistant
Category Assistant (Local JT)
Purpose
Implement Category Strategy and ensure system is setup properly to enable execution
Key Accountabilities
Participate in the Implementation of the Category Strategy defined by Purchase Department.
Procurement of local assortment, preparing negotiations with local suppliers, including cost prices and terms.
Co-ordinate and ensure the correct implementation of the agreed action plans (pricing policy, stock management etc) with relevant departments, marketing, sales and logistics.
Interface with Category Managers to customize the assortment to local needs, implement product listings or delisting.
Follow-up with Marketing the implementation of the promotional plan, including the management of stocks to be discontinued.
Support Category Manager in backoffice related tasks
Necessary Skills
Fluent in English, proficient in all Microsoft Office tools, more importantly Excel and Powerpoint Presentations
Experience in SAP is a bonus
Prior experience in Commercial Dpts is a bonus but not a prerequisite
Open minded, ambitious, problem solver mentality an absolute must
