Kyknos team having an extended presence in production of food, is looking forward to recruit an EXPORTS MANAGER for the Head office team, in Athens.

The position is full time with indefinite duration, reporting to Commercial Director.

Main responsibilities of the position

The Export Manager will be accountable to achieve  the sales & profitability targets of international businesses by developing and managing commercial relationships with current and future customers.

  • Support and grow the corporate Business plan, on behalf of Exports
  • Identify export opportunities for growth. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (partners, distributors).
  • Grow KYKNOS sales into existing and new markets
  • Establish the Brand name of Kyknos to countries, other than Greece
  • Build on relationships with country suppliers and stakeholders
  • Drive and secure commercial agreements with distribution partners, in full alignment with agreed export commercial guidelines
  • Support the needs (strategic, tactical) of partners
  • Data analysis and reporting based on progress vs budget
  • Risk analysis and opportunities for further development
  • Coordinate the company's export operations
  • Invest approx. 30% of working time in international trips in current & potential markets

 Knowledge and Technical skills

  • University / Master degree based on Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field
  • Proven experience of 3 to 5 years, in international export sales
  • Understanding of FMCG product & channel strategies, ideally Food industry is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language
  • Excellent Knowledge in Microsoft Office
  • Travelling opportunities
  • Experience in developing new clients – new markets
  • Knowledge of export regulations, documentation, and procedures
