Among the various industries we recruit for, we are exclusively retained to find a Sales Executive-Food Production Equipment based in Thessaloniki.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients in the food production industry, driving sales, and promoting advanced machinery solutions for food processing and packaging. The role requires a deep understanding of the food production sector and a proven track record in B2B sales.
Responsibilities
- Manage and expand a portfolio of clients in the food production sector
- Drive the sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring client needs are met and exceeded. Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and new prospects
- Manage customer relationships, acting as a key point of contact after the training period
- Support business development activities by identifying and pursuing growth opportunities
- Coordinate the ordering of spare parts and oversee after-sales service matters
- Contribute to designing and improving process engineering lines for clients
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the food production or manufacturing equipment industry. Experience in selling machinery or capital equipment is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in English
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP systems (Softone preferred)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail
