POSITION OVERVIEW
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team, developing sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets across the EU and global markets. This role requires a proactive and results-data-driven individual who can inspire and manage the Key Account International Managers team while developing and implementing effective sales plans by monitoring sales forecasts and analyzing market trends.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage, mentor, and optimize the performance of a team of five Key Account International Managers, ensuring alignment with company objectives
• Develop and implement a data-driven sales planning strategy to optimize revenue growth across EU and global markets
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback, coaching, and training to the sales personnel.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
• Work closely with Marketing and Production teams to align sales strategies objectives
• Handle escalated VIP customer inquiries and issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
• Oversee the daily operations of the sales department, including setting sales targets, monitoring performance, and preparing sales reports.
• In cooperation with the Operations Director develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
• Develop proposals and presentations for potential clients and negotiate contract terms.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis.
• Design and implement sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
• Build and establish a sales bonus scheme for the team.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
• Minimum education : Graduate of a university degree related to Business Administration or a related field
• Experience required : At least 3 years in a similar managerial position
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Excellent knowledge of English, additional languages would be considered as an asset
• Proficiency in excel and BI tools and ability to create and interpret data reports
• Strong understanding of sales principles, practices, and techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Good Knowledge in sales management software and CRM systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
