We are seeking a motivated Customer Support Engineer to join our team full-time at our Athens headquarters (Attiki, Greece).
This role combines technical support with elements of technical-commercial consulting. You will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, providing product and application support, and contributing to the preparation of technical quotations and solutions. Close collaboration with the sales and technical departments is essential, as is the ability to understand customer needs and propose suitable product configurations.
The position involves a mix of office-based support and occasional field visits for equipment checks, basic installations, or troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and effective technical support to customers (phone, email, in person)
- Analyze customer needs and propose appropriate solutions from our product portfolio
- Prepare and follow up on technical/commercial offers in cooperation with the sales team
- Act as a liaison between clients and suppliers for custom requests or clarifications
- Support the sales process by offering technical insights that assist in closing deals
- Conduct field visits for diagnostics, technical evaluations, or application support
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, offers, and customer feedback
- Continuously develop product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering (or similar field)
- Strong communication skills in both Greek and English
- 1–3 years of experience in a technical support or sales support role
- Familiarity with industrial automation, pneumatics, or workshop equipment is a plus
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP/CRM systems is a plus
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to balance technical and commercial priorities
- Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn
