Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Partners Enabling to lead and develop our merchant acquisition and partnership efforts in Greece. This critical role will drive the growth and adoption of tbi bank’s BNPL solutions among retailers with both online and physical stores. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong background in business development, fintech, or payments.


What You Get To Do In This Role

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing merchant acquisition and account management team.
  • Develop and execute strategies to onboard, enable, and grow merchant partnerships for our BNPL products, targeting physical and online stores, retailers, and service providers.
  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities, negotiating with prospective merchant partners to expand tbi bank’s merchant portfolio.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing merchant partners, ensuring satisfaction and long-term collaboration.
  • Oversee the sales process, ensuring effective promotion and integration of our solutions at merchant locations.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of merchant partnerships, providing actionable insights and driving continuous improvement.
  • Prepare tailored commercial offers and proposals for new and existing partners in alignment with business objectives.
  • Act as the voice of the merchant, providing market feedback to enhance our offering.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (product, marketing, operations, etc.) to optimize the partner and consumer experience.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor the team budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and achievement of financial targets.
  • Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships, including C-suite executives.
  • Develop and refine internal processes to improve merchant onboarding and operational efficiency.
  • Represent tbi bank at industry events, building and maintaining strong relationships with key partners.
  • Play a pivotal role in driving tbi bank’s growth in the Greek market.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in sales leadership, partner management, or business development within the financial services, fintech, or payments sector.
  • Deep understanding of BNPL, consumer lending, or merchant acquiring products.
  • Strong people management skills with a track record of building and leading successful teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying, negotiating, and managing partnerships with merchants.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a passion for driving results.
