Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Group Sport & Recreation Director to implement the overarching strategy for sports and recreation across Ikos Resorts.
Tailor programs to the specific needs and preferences of Ikos Resorts’ guests while adhering to the group’s brand standards.
Manage daily operations of all sports and recreational facilities, including equipment, scheduling, and staff deployment.
Foster active cooperation with all departmental and interdepartmental colleagues to promote teamwork and efficiency
Integrate environmentally conscious practices into all sports and recreation programs, contributing to the group’s sustainability goals.
Elevate guest satisfaction by delivering innovative, engaging, and personalized sports and recreational activities.
Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse team of instructors and coordinators, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Manage departmental budgets in coordination with the local Sport Manager, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
Work with the Group Sport & Recreation Director to establish partnerships with sports organizations, external vendors, and luxury brands to enrich the resort’s offerings.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations across all activities and facilities.
What will you bring?
Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
Certifications in areas such as CPR, First Aid, and Luesure Operations would be a plus
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sports and recreation management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in a luxury resort or hospitality setting.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; fluency in English is required, and additional languages would be a plus.
Ability to travel throughout the year to Ikos resorts, future projects, and various sports & recreation exhibitions or events.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required.
