About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated ESG Expert to join our ESG team and play a key role in advancing our sustainability reporting and ESG initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in sustainability reporting, emissions calculations, and ESG data management to contribute to our commitment to transparency, sustainability, and positive environmental and social impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of sustainability reports in alignment with CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) requirements.
- Collect, analyze, and process data for Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather relevant ESG data and ensure timely reporting.
- Support the development of methodologies and tools to improve data collection and reporting processes.
- Stay up to date on ESG trends, regulations, and frameworks to ensure compliance and integrate best practices.
- Assist in identifying and tracking ESG performance metrics (KPIs) and propose areas for improvement.
- Contribute to ESG strategy development and help implement initiatives that align with company goals and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Full understanding of CSRD reporting requirements and relevant ESG frameworks (e.g., GRI, TCFD, SASB).
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sustainability reporting or similar roles. Previous experience working in ESG-related positions within a corporate or consulting environment.
- Proven experience in Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions calculation and data processing.
- Writing skills for reporting purposes, with attention to clarity, detail, and compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets to identify trends and insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
- Excellent academic background including a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in a relevant discipline, ranging from sustainability related studies, including engineering disciplines and environmental science, to business administration/MBA and/or financial reporting.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and work in a team-oriented environment.
