Fiber Optic Technician

 

Job Description

 

We're looking for a skilled Fiber Optic Technician to join our dynamic team. 

In this role, you'll be an integral part of our production line, ensuring the precise assembly and quality testing of fiber optic equipment. 

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality control in manufacturing fiber optics that meet our innovative standards.

 

Job Title: Fiber Optic Technician

Location: Munich, Bayern, Germany

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex and precise fiber optic assemblies and installations.
  • Test fiber optic systems and components to ensure they meet industry and company standards.
  • Troubleshoot and correct any issues relating to fiber optic equipment and systems.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of manufacturing processes and testing results.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and handle optical components and tools properly.
  • Work closely with other technicians and engineers to develop and implement process improvements.

 

 

 

 

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.

Note:

Relevant and verifiable work experience can compensate for formal education.

  • Proven experience in fiber optic technology manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of fiber optic technology, testing equipment, and industry standards.
  • Exceptional manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Working proficiency in English is required, both written and spoken, while any level of proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel as required to project sites.
