Human Resources Generalist

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle the administration of the employee's lifecycle, (sourcing, interviews, hiring, exit interviews etc.)
  • Support the design and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Support the implementation of the effective onboarding / offboarding plans.
  • Gather and analyze data through useful HR metrics and prepares the relevant reporting.
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
  • Assist in collecting employees’ hours worked, including overtime hours.
  • Handle employees’ queries
  • Forecasting accommodation requirements and prepares reports when required.
  • Keeps a record of all furnishings and equipment by Unit.
  • Maintains room keys copies, as per corporate policy.
  • Maintains accurate records of Unit and bed allocation; by name, position, employment period, contact details and other
  • Oversees the on-boarding activities to ensure accommodation for all colleagues are set up based on Bill and Coo standards and ensure colleagues’ arrival process is efficient and welcoming.
  • Handles colleague complaints and feedback according to company standards to ensure quality objectives are measured and established and actively participate in the review of these objectives.
  • Conducts checks to ensure safety and cleanliness of the properties, takes corrective actions to rectify any issues.
  • Inspects the accommodation to ensure that hygiene and health and safety regulations are met, carries out risk assessments as necessary.
  • Supervises accommodation attendants to ensure that all cleaning and maintenance is carried out to the highest standards, at all times.
  • Attending to any emergencies and disputes occurring in staff accommodation

Candidates should have:

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • A degree in Hospitality/Tourism
  • Computer literacy – MS Office
  • Fluent oral and written knowledge of English
  • The ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • A self-motivated, enthusiastic, professional and detail oriented work ethic
