A fast-growing hospitality management company is seeking to hire an experienced Executive Chef.

As the Executive Chef, you will be managing all culinary functions, delivering the highest quality of service, according to company standards.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create, train and develop, as well as effectively lead all kitchen staff 
  • Participate in management and operations meetings as required
  • Participate in the preparation of special events and supervise their successful organization
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and HACCP regulations, as well as abide by health and safety laws and company standards
  • Design, implement, and monitor all the Culinary Operations
  • Evaluate the kitchen staff’s performance and propose development plans 
  • Oversee cleanliness and sanitization according to Group’s quality standards of food production
  • Stay up to date with market trends and insert new culinary processes in everyday operations
  • Control food cost and inventory for all outlets 
  • Develop new recipes and menus, achieving optimum cost and profitability levels
  • Ensure the quality of the ingredients in collaboration with the suppliers
  • Control the labor costs
  • Monitor and maintain the budget agreed with the Hotel Manager
  • Motivate the staff members to meet excellent quality service standards 
  • Develop training material and implement training programs in accordance with Company’s needs 

 

Requirements

  • At least three years of similar working experience at a 5-star hotel
  • Degree in culinary arts
  • Advanced leadership skills, able to motivate a team of high-level professionals
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in the implementation of ISO 22000 & HACCP quality systems. Certification is desirable
  • Experience and strong knowledge of current culinary techniques and creating innovative recipes
  • Ability to manage food cost, stay within budget, and maximize revenue
  • Dedicated to providing excellent services and memorable experiences to guests
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising quality standards
  • Adaptable, able to work on complex problems, responsive to changing situations
  • Professional appearance, friendly personality, caring for guests’ and staff’s needs
  • Tech savvy, knowledge of MS Office suite programs, especially Excell
  • Excellent use of the English language
  • A second language is desirable
