Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Restaurant Manager.
• Greet guests upon their departure.
• Escort guests to assigned dining or lounge area.
• Provide menus to the guests and announce Waitress/Waiter’s name.
• Manage reservations & seating arrangements.
• Cater to guests who require extra attention.
• Answer incoming calls and address guests’ inquiries.
• Cooperate very close with service in order to coordinate guest seating and ensure an efficient table turnover.
• Must be able to follow and implement all company’s policies and procedures.
• Maintain the highest standards possible.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience as a Hostess in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Understanding of restaurant etiquette.
• Familiarity with health & safety regulations.
• Experience in managing reservations.
• Excellent knowledge of English.
• Outstanding communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Hospitality degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized hospitality institute will be considered as a plus.
• Strong commitment to service.
• Strong organizational skills and focus to detail.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
