Night Auditor
Responsibilities:
- Welcome the hotel guests, provide prompt, courteous and efficient service to all guest, so as to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction through personalized service from arrival till departure.
- Conduct in room and hotel familiarization and assist guest in hotel enquiries/ requests/ activity.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of hotel information and local services, including operating hours, promotions, events, attractions and any allied information to respond to guest queries.
- Process accounts from check in to check out, ensuring accurate postings of all incidental charged using Front Office system.
- Maintain the privacy of all guests by ensuring that no details of the guests are disclosed.
- Sell guests rooms to walk in guests. Oversee the achievement of team up selling targets.
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of the hotel’s policies, operating procedures and service standards and have full knowledge of the hotel facilities and events.
- Prepare customer’s account and guest’s history.
- Assist in dealing with customer complaints in an effective manner providing solutions as quickly as possible.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
- Bookkeeping and Finance duties (balancing cash accounts, end of shift reports etc.)
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests and colleagues.
Ideal candidates should have:
- degree in Hospitality
- minimum 2 years of experience as a Front Office Agent in a 5-star/Boutique hotel
- knowledge of Protel PMS
- excellent knowledge and use of the English language
- excellent communication skills
