As a Front Office Agent at Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort you play a vital role in providing exceptional guest experiences. You are the first point of contact for our guests and are responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and efficient environment in the hotel's front office. Your primary goal is to ensure a seamless check-in and check-out process while delivering outstanding guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Check-In and Check-Out: Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor. Assist guests with the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously.
- Reservation Management: Verify and confirm guest reservations accurately.
- Payment Processing: Collect and process payments, issue invoices, and maintain a balanced cash drawer. Ensure all financial transactions are conducted securely and in compliance with hotel policies.
- Information and Assistance: Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, services, local attractions, and dining options. Offer recommendations and assistance to enhance their stay.
- Telephone and Email Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and transfer calls to appropriate departments. Handle reservations, inquiries, and requests via phone and email.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve guest issues and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction while adhering to hotel policies and procedures.
- Safety and Security: Monitor and maintain the security of the front desk area, ensuring the safety and privacy of guests. Follow hotel security and emergency procedures.
- Administrative Duties: Complete administrative tasks, such as filing, record-keeping, and updating guest information.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other hotel departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (National or International university/ AEI or TEI)
- 1 year minimum experience on similar position, leadership in hospitality strongly required.
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages. Third language will be considered accordingly.
- Exceptional communication (both verbal and written), negotiation and administrative skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure with provided resources, manage workload using own initiative and sufficiently cover a multitask position.
- High knowledge of Protel/CRS/PMS revenue management and MS office are considered a must.
- Availability to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
