Εποχιακός/ήLouis Hotels, one of the biggest hotel groups in Cyprus and Greece, is seeking to recruit an ideal candidate for the Mykonos Island:
Pastry Chef
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensures that the pastry needs of guests are exceeded resulting in a positive dining experience.
- Oversees the entire pastry kitchen department operation.
- Leads, mentors, and motivates the pastry and culinary team, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
- Collaborates with other hotel departments to ensure that the overall guest experience is seamless and enjoyable.
- Monitors food costs and adjusts as necessary while always ensuring food standards and quality.
- Ensures that all kitchen employees adhere strictly to the food preparation and safety regulations.
- Complies with all company-related kitchen standards and operating procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Graduate from a culinary arts school.
- A minimum of three years’ experience as a pastry chef.
- Excellent culinary knowledge, including food preparation, menu planning, recipe development, and presentation.
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Creative and innovative with a passion for pastry excellence.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize as well as to anticipate problems and find practical solutions quickly.
- Excellent knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques.
- EU Nationality or eligibility to work within the EU.
