Wavemaker Hospitality, the leading hotel company in Cyprus and Greece, is expanding its operations. We are looking for an experienced and talented individual as a Bar Manager to join the award-winning 5* Atlantica Belvedere Hotel in Kos island for the season 2025.

The Bar manager role involves managing staff, ensuring quality service, and maximizing profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, recruit, train, and supervise bar staff.
• Provide training and ongoing support to ensure staff is well-prepared for their roles.
• Develop and manage the bar budget.
• Ensure that drinks are prepared according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including those related to alcohol service and safety.
• Oversee the ordering and management of bar supplies, including beverages, glassware, and garnishes.
• Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
• Foster a positive and cohesive team culture.

 Requirements

• Previous experience in bartending or bar management.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management or supervisory role of a similar position
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and other stakeholders.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on providing an exceptional experience.
• Strong organizational, time-management skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex and/or escalated guest issues and find creative solutions
• Knowledge of hospitality industry best practices, including customer service and guest experience.
• Fluent in English, additional languages a plus.
