Our People & Culture Senior Manager will act as the first port of call to team members and external partners for all People-related queries. He/She contributes a high level of human resource generalist knowledge and expertise for our Hotel. He/she will be accountable for recruitment, succession/workforce planning, performance management and development for our hotel team members and coaching/developing others to help influence and execute business objectives in the most efficient manner. This is a permanent role- based in Agios Nikolaos, Crete
Some of the responsibilities you are entrusted with:
- Manage Recruitment processes by developing the recruitment strategy in collaboration with hiring managers.
- Serves as expert facilitator or the selection and interviewing process.
- Devise the Employer Branding strategy and tactics for our hotel.
- Remains current and knowledgeable in compensation and work competitive environments.
- Champions the communication and proper use of total compensation systems, tools, programs, policies, etc.
- Ensures team members are properly trained to appropriately respond to business needs and developmental opportunities.
- Act to support the human factor in the hotel by devising strategies for performance evaluation and people development etc.
- Serves as resource to property Human Resources staff on employee relations questions and issues. Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required.
- Continually reinforces positive employee relations concepts.
- Reviewing and renewing Hotel People-related policies and legal compliance
- Manage, develop and coach the People & Culture team.

To succeed you need:
- good knowledge and understanding of Labour Law
- experience in a similar role - at least for 2 years
- understanding various software systems, like ERGANI
- computer literate with programmes such as word, excel, etc.
- excellent knowledge of the English language
- very good communication and interpersonal skills with a confident and outgoing personality and an ability to interact with people at all levels
