Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Team Management: Lead and oversee a team of Sales Managers, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering professional growth.
  • Performance Oversight: Manage and optimize the performance of the banquet, group, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) business segments.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing, Revenue Management, and Operations teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and present findings to the executive team.
  • Budget Management: Manage the sales department budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Director of Sales or in a similar senior sales leadership role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of hotel sales, distribution channels, and revenue management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, develop actionable insights, and drive strategic decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Fluent in Greek and English (additional languages are a plus).
