We are looking for a professional Maitre to be responsible for managing all Food & Beverage operations and for delivering an excellent guest experience.
The focus is on professionalism and providing a superior customer experience. The ideal candidate must possess in depth knowledge about Food & Beverage in addition to superior customer relations skills. Excellent communication is essential to build a rapport with guests and ability to lead a team.
Responsibilities
- Manage all restaurants’ operations within budgeted guidelines and according to the highest standards.
- Ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the F&B department and provides customer focused service to the guests, ensuring their stay will become an unforgettable experience.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations.
- Greet and escort guests with a professional and positive attitude.
- Oversea the flow of guests within the restaurant.
- Manage the reservations and shift team.
- Organize time effectively, forward plan and prioritize tasks to ensure workload ismbalanced and urgent situations are dealt with immediately.
- Focus on service quality
- Liaise between kitchen staff and floor staff.
- Maintain ambience of restaurant – lighting, music, cleanliness, hygiene.
- Oversea and pro-actively deal with guest queries and complaints.
- Ensures guests feedback is properly collected and proceeds with service recoverym process in a timely and effective manner.
- Check and deal with all guests Special Occasion arrangements
- Works closely with site managers for F&B orders and purchases while keeping costs in line with budgets.Collaborate with the GM and Executive Chef for In-House events
Qualifications/skills
- Previous employment in a similar position in a 4-5* hotel
- Hospitallity degree will be an added advantage
- Fluency in both English and Greek
- Knowledge of an additional foreign language will be considered an asset
- A charismatic & kind personality ready to offer a memorable experience to guests
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and customer – oriented.
- Familiar with restaurant management software
- Advanced organizational and negotiation skills
