ONUKI was awarded the Top Notch distinction for the years 2023-2024 as one of the best restaurants in Greece.
The company recently launched GUACANA, a vibrant Nikkei gastrobar located in Navarino Agora. Navarino Agora is a curated marketplace and incubator of art and culture, combining elevated shopping, dining and entertainment offerings with a range of cultural events. GUACANA, set on an islet, spearheads the gastronomic offerings of Navarino Agora with an intriguing design and atmosphere, a refined mix of Peruvian and Japanese flavors and a distinct Pisco bar that enhances the entertainment element.
A third venture is currently under development and will be launched under the ONUKI brand, within the building formerly occupied by Hilton Athens. The new flagship restaurant projected to open in 2025 will feature a Japanese fine dining concept with a lounge bar and a poolside bar, designed by an internationally acclaimed interior design studio. Following the company’s core values, the new culinary concept is based on attention-to-detail, quality and craftmanship with the aim of actively participating in and enriching the current Athenian gastronomic era.
About the role
GUACANA is currently recruiting a Bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience.
Your tasks as a Bartender :
- Interact with guests, present menus, take orders and make recommendations and serve snacks and drinks.
- Make sure the bar is set up and closed down accurately and on time, cleaned, restocked, garnishes and all mise en place prepared and ready on time.
- To provide a genuine, attentive, and friendly service to our guests in order to reflect the Guacana standards.
- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the bar menu, including the beer, wine, sake and cocktail list.
- To feel empowered to make a decision that will enhance the guest experience or defuse any complaints which may arise.
- To be an ambassador for Guacana as well as someone who embodies our values and commitment to our teams.
