Hotel Operations Manager

 

About the hotel:

Located in the heart of the Ionian Islands, specifically in Tsilivi, one of the most central areas of Zakynthos, the Karras Grande Resort promises to enchant even the most discerning guest. With 134 rooms and 3 pools, it creates moments of relaxation for the visitor, who also has the option to dine at the Basilico a la carte restaurant or at the Il Gusto buffet. The combination of excellent service from the staff and the hotel's amenities is sure to create an unforgettable hospitality experience for guests.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising, coordinating, guiding and motivating all hotel employees towards guest satisfaction.
  • Ensuring that all Procedures and Internal Policies are constantly followed and in the right way by all team members, aiming to achieve the highest guest and employee satisfaction.
  • Participating in the selection, onboarding, and training of new team members in the hotel.
  • Developing, overseeing, and implementing, in coordination with the Owner, an action plan to achieve internal revenue budgets and maximize guest satisfaction for the hotel.
  • Successfully handling any guest complaints or very demanding guest requests that may occur in an empathetic and timely manner.
  • Responding to guest reviews published on Booking.com, Trip Advisor and other online platforms where the hotel has a presence.
  • Monitoring and managing employee work schedules across all departments, in line with occupancy levels, hotel needs, and the company’s legal obligations.
  • Regularly organizing meetings with the Heads of Departments to enhance information sharing and collaboration among all.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Strong F&B background.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English language.
  • Proficient use of MS Office and relevant hotel PMS (preferably Pylon).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
