Mar-Bella Collection is looking for a passionate Front Office Manager to join the Avali hotel team for 2025 in Corfu.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise the operations & SOPs of reception, guest relations, porters & doorman team
- Oversee the daily operations of the front office, including guest check-in, check-out, room assignments, and special requests.
- Manage and mentor the front office team, ensuring high performance and excellent customer service.
- Ensure that all guest inquiries, complaints, and requests are handled professionally and efficiently.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely room readiness.
- Handle VIP arrivals and ensure personalized service for high-profile guests.
- Implement and maintain hotel policies, procedures, and standards at the front office.
- Monitor and manage front desk scheduling, ensuring optimal staffing levels to meet guest needs.
- Oversee the accuracy of guest billing and room charges, ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and respond to feedback, taking necessary actions to improve service.
- Stay updated on hotel policies, local tourism information, and current events to provide information to guests.
- Assist with staff recruitment, training, and development for the front office team
Requirements
- Degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within a boutique or luxury hotel setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of front office systems (PMS) and hotel management software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve guest issues diplomatically.
