Mar-Bella Collection: A family-owned group of four award winning five-star luxury hotels, dotted around the Ionian Sea in Greece & curated to suit the ever-changing needs of guests across different stages of their life. The iconic MarBella, perfect for families and multi-generational groups, the adults-only Nido, a Small Luxury Hotel of the World, and Avali, the latest addition to the Mar-Bella Collection portfolio are located on the island of Corfu. Elix is on the Ionian coast of mainland Greece and lays in a stunning location above Karavostasi beach between Parga and Syvota.

Mar-Bella Collection is looking for a passionate Front Office Manager to join the Avali hotel team for 2025 in Corfu.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the operations & SOPs of reception, guest relations, porters & doorman team
  • Oversee the daily operations of the front office, including guest check-in, check-out, room assignments, and special requests.
  • Manage and mentor the front office team, ensuring high performance and excellent customer service.
  • Ensure that all guest inquiries, complaints, and requests are handled professionally and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely room readiness.
  • Handle VIP arrivals and ensure personalized service for high-profile guests.
  • Implement and maintain hotel policies, procedures, and standards at the front office.
  • Monitor and manage front desk scheduling, ensuring optimal staffing levels to meet guest needs.
  • Oversee the accuracy of guest billing and room charges, ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction scores and respond to feedback, taking necessary actions to improve service.
  • Stay updated on hotel policies, local tourism information, and current events to provide information to guests.
  • Assist with staff recruitment, training, and development for the front office team

Requirements

  • Degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within a boutique or luxury hotel setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of front office systems (PMS) and hotel management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve guest issues diplomatically.
