Avaton Luxury Beach Resort - Relais & Chateaux (www.avaton.com) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team.

As the Restaurant Supervisor at Avaton Luxury Beach Resort, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. You will oversee the front-of-house operations, manage and train the waitstaff, and ensure exceptional customer service. Your strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and passion for hospitality will contribute to creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train waitstaff, ensuring they provide excellent customer service
  • Assist guests with menu selections and provide recommendations
  • Coordinate and communicate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure timely and efficient service
  • Monitor and manage inventory of restaurant supplies, including cutlery, glassware, and linens
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness of the restaurant
  • Handle customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Adhere to the Relais & CHateaux service standards
  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
  • Prepare and present bills accurately and perform all duties related to restaurant closing shifts.
  • Greet and seat guests in a professional manner
  • Provide an enjoyable, expertly served beverage or dining experience conforming to our  standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness.
  • Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item.


Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or similar role in a luxury dining establishment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for providing outstanding customer service
  • Knowledge of dining room procedures and etiquette
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
  • Flexible schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
