Wavemaker Hospitality, the leading hotel company in Cyprus and Greece, is expanding its operations. We are looking for an experienced and talented individual as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join the award-winning 5* Atlantica Kalliston in Chania, Crete island for the season 2025.
The Housekeeping Supervisor will ensure that the highest level of cleanliness and maintenance is achieved while supporting the company's philosophy of Greek hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Ensures that all Housekeeping staff perform duties following hotel policy
- Assists the Executive Housekeeper in formulating and establishing plans for all aspects of Housekeeping management and operation.
- Supervises a daily inspection program to ensure guest rooms, back of the house and public areas are clean and supplied with necessary items and services.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and orderliness
- Collaborate with the rest of the hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Order and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory
- Schedule staff and assign tasks to ensure efficient use of resources
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a housekeeping assistant in a luxury hospitality environment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff at all levels of the organization
- Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail, with a thorough understanding of housekeeping and laundry operations
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant computer programs. Knowledge of the Protel PMS will be considered as an asset
