Employment Contract: 12months

Location: Metsovo, Epirus, Greece

About the role

From arrival to departure, the team member is in charge of liaising with hotel guests and hotel team. Specifically, they assist our guests by giving them information. The successful candidate will also support reservations in the daily operation, for the continuous reception and registration of hotels reservations in the Property Management System. Primary responsibilities

  • Greeting and thanking guests in a sincere, friendly manner.
  • Checking guests in on arrival and out on departure.
  • Posting charges to appropriate guest accounts.
  • Anticipating and addressing guests' needs, and resolving their problems and complaints.
  • Assisting guests with disabilities.
  • Operating switchboard and assisting with inquiries.
  • Assisting the reservations manager with taking reservations.
  • Collaborating and communicating with other internal departments to ensure exceeding guest satisfaction.
  • Complying with company procedures and safety policies.
  • Performing duties on a daily checklist.
  • Assisting and advising guests who may be choosing from a variety of experience options.
  • Making reservations for guests based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances.
  • Checking the availability of accommodation on the customers' desired travel dates.
  • Processing payments and sending confirmation details to guests.
  • Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
  • Selling and promoting hotel services.
  • Answering any questions customers might have about the reservation process.
  • Up-selling, when appropriate and with discreetness, by informing customers of additional services.
  • Providing support to customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation.

 

 

 

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a high-end boutique hotel, yacht or airline with exposure to various guest profile styles.
  • Proficient knowledge of English language and of MS Office.
  • Well-groomed with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • IT skills, knowledge of Protel, would be an asset.
