Reservations Executive

About the role

The Reservations Executive responds to reservation requests from guests, travel agents, and referral networks made through various communication platforms.

Key accountabilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service over the phone and via email, responding to all guest queries.
  • Generate required paperwork, including invoices, refunds, and credits, for customer and internal purposes.
  • Ensure proper filing and document management according to company procedures.
  • Participate in all company training programs to stay current with industry best practices and product knowledge.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the company’s facilities, services, and philosophy to deliver a personalized experience tailored to guest needs.
  • Support the reservations team in managing room inventory and revenue optimization.
  • Assist in maximizing hotel revenue by ensuring effective use of the Property Management System (PMS), Channel Manager, and Extranets.
  • Oversee availability and ensure alignment with revenue strategies
  • Compile and provide detailed reports to support business decision-making and performance evaluations.

 

Skills & expertise:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Reservations Agent or Executive within th hospitality industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of English language. Any additional languages is considered an asset.
  • Proficient knowledge of PMS (Opera, Fidelio), Channel Manager, and Extranets.
  • Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment while maintaining attention to detail.
