Event Project Manager

Workathlon is seeking an experienced Event Project Manager on behalf of Event Makers DMC in Athens. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional with a passion for event planning and hospitality to join a thriving team.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage events from A to Z, ensuring alignment with client requirements, target audience, and objectives.
• Propose creative ideas to enhance event success.
• Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring financial adherence.
• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Ensure seamless execution of the event, resolving any issues that arise efficiently.
• Analyze post-event performance and prepare detailed reports on outcomes and recommendations.

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven experience as an Event Manager, ideally in a destination management company.
• Excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken)
• Second language is a plus (German, Italian)
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Customer-service orientation with a professional, friendly demeanor.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel.
• BSc/BA in Events Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
