Extended on the foothills of Ancient Thira, Sandblu Santorini redefines luxury through thoughtfully curated experiences. Skybay Group enlarges its vision with the opening of a new restaurant in Imerovigli, Santorini, offering a unique dining experience that blends Mediterranean tradition with modern innovation. Perched atop a cliff with panoramic views of the Aegean Sea and the island’s idyllic sunset, the restaurant will craft contemporary dishes with locally sourced ingredients and fresh seafood. The sleek, modern design complements the breathtaking scenery, while the sustainable approach ensures a minimal environmental footprint. With a curated wine list featuring Santorini’s renowned Assyrtiko, this new venue promises to be a must-visit destination for locals and visitors alike, combining exceptional food, stunning views, and memorable experiences.

Sandblu Resort, Santorini, is currently in search of Chef De Partie.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Prepare and cook dishes according to the resort’s recipes and standards.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to established procedures and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure availability of ingredients.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to develop new menu items and specials.
  • Handle guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of special events and banquets.
  • Maintain accurate records of food production and wastage.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within the hospitality industry (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation.
  • A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering exceptional food quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks with ease.
  • Fluency in English.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
