Role Overview

The Barista/Bartender will be responsible for engaging with guests, receiving and serving orders, and ensuring that all established standards are met at the highest level. The role includes preparing beverages, maintaining cleanliness, handling transactions, and promoting the bar and snack menu.

Key Responsibilities:

•Greet guests with a genuine smile and a willingness to assist.

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks (espresso, cappuccino, specialty brews), handcrafted cocktails, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area.

•Engage with guests, assess their preferences, and make recommendations.

•Ensure that all guest needs are met while asking for feedback to enhance satisfaction.

•Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.

•Follow all hygiene, food safety, and allergen management protocols, ensuring guests are informed about potential allergens and risks.

•Be responsible for billing, and ensuring accurate transactions (room charges, credit card, and cash payments).

• Show excellent knowledge and understanding of all bar and snack menus, including promotions and special offers.

• Upsell drinks and food when appropriate.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in a similar role as a Barista or Bartender, preferably in a 5-star hotel or high-end hospitality setting.

•Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, cocktail making, and mixology; relevant certifications will be considered an asset.

•Degree in Hospitality or Tourism will be considered an asset.

•Excellent knowledge of the English language; any additional language will be considered an asset.

•Experienced in POS handling.

• Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service.

•Pleasant personality, customer-oriented.
