Wavemaker Hospitality, the leading hotel company in Cyprus and Greece, is expanding its operations. We are looking for an experienced and talented individual as a Reservations Manager to join the awarded-winning 5* Atlantica Dreams Resort team in Rhodes island for the season 2025.
The Reservations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel’s reservation operations, ensuring the efficient and effective handling of bookings while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. This position requires an individual who can manage room availability, pricing, and reservations systems while also working closely with other departments to optimize revenue and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all reservations are accurately recorded in the property management system (PMS) and reflect current availability.
- Monitor booking patterns and trends, and adjust pricing or availability strategies to optimize occupancy and revenue.
- Oversee the daily operations of the reservations department, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all bookings.
- Supervise the team in handling reservation requests, cancellations, modifications, and special requests following hotel policies and procedures
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless coordination in handling reservations.
- Address and resolve any concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Maintain clear and open communication with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Communicate effectively with the Front Office, Housekeeping, Sales, and Revenue teams to ensure smooth operations and accurate information flow regarding reservations and room availability.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, data protection, and security procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality or business administration, or related field.
- Previous experience of at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Strong organizational, time-management skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex and/or escalated guest issues and find creative solutions
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and reservations systems.
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
- Familiarity with hotel reservation systems.
