Position Summary:
We are looking for an Executive Chef to oversee the culinary operations at OKU Kos, ensuring exceptional food quality and outstanding guest experiences. The role will involve managing the kitchen team and maintaining the highest standards of culinary excellence. The Executive Chef will work closely with the group Executive Chef  to uphold the OKU philosophy of mindful luxury, slow-living, and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage kitchen operations across all food and beverage outlets.
  • Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
  • Maintain food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with hotel management to develop seasonal promotions and special events.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
  • Manage food cost controls and budget, ensuring the efficient use of resources.
  • Create a positive and motivating environment for the culinary team.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of modern culinary trends and techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • A passion for creating high-quality, creative dishes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to sustainability and using locally sourced ingredients.
