Wavemaker Hospitality, the leading hotel company in Cyprus and Greece, is expanding its operations. We are looking for experienced and talented individuals as Baristas to join the award-winning 5* Atlantica Dreams Resort in Rhodes island for the season 2025.

As a Barista, you will prepare high-quality coffee beverages, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the café. You will contribute to creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for hotel guests while supporting the overall success of our food and beverage operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and engaging guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take customer orders, process payments, and ensure that beverages are made to guest specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including regularly cleaning coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies to ensure the café is always well-stocked.
• Follow hotel’s health and safety guidelines, including food safety standards and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with café setup, including arranging seating, preparing counters, and displaying products.
• Communicate effectively with the café team, hotel staff, and guests to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve any concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Stay up-to-date on coffee trends and new beverage offerings to enhance the guest experience.
• Assist with additional duties, including supporting the broader food and beverage team as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role, preferably in a hotel or café environment.
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso machines, and various coffee-based beverages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for providing exceptional service and creating memorable guest experiences.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset.
• Basic math skills for handling cash, processing payments, and giving change.
• Excellent command of English (written and verbal use)
• Food safety certification (if applicable) and knowledge of health & safety standards is a plus.
