Sandblu Resort, Santorini, is currently in search of Restaurant Hostess.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and provide a welcoming first impression of the restaurant.
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
- Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and introduce servers.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide information about the restaurant’s offerings and services.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting hostess station and entrance area.
- Coordinate with the waitstaff and kitchen to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Monitor the flow of the dining room and optimize seating to maximize capacity and guest comfort.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining area before and after service.
- Uphold the restaurant’s standards of service, hygiene, and safety at all times.
Qualifications / Experience
- Previous experience as a Hostess or in a similar role within the hospitality industry (preferred but not essential).
- A friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks with ease.
- Fluency in English.
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
