Cost Controller & Receiver - NOUS Santorini

Cost Controller & Receiver for NOUS Santorini property will be based 7-8 months - on average- in Santorini, remaining 4 to 5 months of the year to be based in Donkey Hotels HQ in Athens

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control all F&B costs in collaboration with the F&B Manager, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Reconcile invoices with purchase orders and conduct regular stock checks in hotel storage and outlets.
• Develop and maintain a cost control system
• Liaise with GM, Chef, and the Finance team to identify and implement cost-saving measures.
• Ensure that all menu items are correctly entered and maintained in the PMS system (Micros) and verify sales data.
• Report any misuse of products, materials, or equipment immediately to the corporate finance team.
• Oversee the receiving, unloading, and processing of deliveries, ensuring accuracy against invoices and purchase orders.
• Account for incoming freight based on invoice and receiving reports
• Manage and post daily invoices, track pending orders, and ensure smooth delivery of goods to respective departments.
• Carry out regular inventories of F&B stocks as per Head Office guidelines (monthly or semester basis).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience in cost control and inventory management within the F&B industry.
• Proficiency in PMS systems (Micros) and other relevant software.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of inventory control, cost-saving strategies, and financial reporting.
• Excellent knowledge of Greek Language and good communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
