About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino within the Food & Beverage Department in Pylos, the In Room Dining Head Waiter / Waitress is responsible to provide the highest level of service and professional excellence, being ever present in the operation ensuring the highest standards and completely satisfy our guests during their meal experience. The In Room Dining Head Waiter / Waitress reports to the F&B Supervisor.

As In Room Dining Head Waiter / Waitress, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Maintain clean and presentable uniform, personal hygiene, and a professional image.
• Ensure efficient service by completing mise en place and having full knowledge of the In-Room Dining menu.
• Prepare orders and deliver amenities in compliance with Mandarin Oriental standards.
• Take orders courteously, upsell services, and ensure accuracy in guest requests.
• Handle billing and cashiering tasks, ensuring accurate charges and revenue reporting.
• Respond promptly to guest complaints, logs feedback, and ensure guest satisfaction is achieved.

As In Room Dining Head Waiter / Waitress, we expect from you: 

• EU passport or valid Residence Permit is mandatory in order to work in Greece.
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant operation.
• Fluency in English. Greek or any other additional language will be considered as a plus.
