Okupa Kitchen and listening bar is an all day restaurant and bar serving Mediterranean small dishes, cocktails and wines. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen team, develop innovative menus, and ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
• Develop and execute creative, seasonal menus that align with our brand.
• Manage and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
• Maintain food quality and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations.
• Work closely with suppliers to source fresh, high-quality ingredients.
• Control food costs, waste, and kitchen inventory to maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with management on menu pricing, promotions, and special events.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Expertise in fresh small plate style cooking, breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Deep understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and inventory management.
• Creative approach to menu development and plating.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
