Location: Amyth of Nicosia, Nicosia, Cyprus
About Amyth of Nicosia: Amyth of Nicosia, part of Thanos Hotels, is a beautifully restored villa with ten bedrooms and suites, located in the historic part of Nicosia. The hotel is situated just meters away from the Archbishopric of Cyprus and its Museum of Byzantine Art, and opposite the Mansion of Kornesios Hadjigeorgakis.
Position Summary: We are seeking for a talented and experienced Hotel Manager to lead Amyth of Nicosia. The ideal candidate will have a strong personality, proven leadership skills, and extensive experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in Food & Beverage (F&B) management. This role demands a professional with a dynamic presence, capable of managing a high-end hotel that caters to a well-travelled clientele.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all hotel operations, ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction.
- Lead and manage the hotel staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experience and hotel profitability.
- Manage the Food & Beverage department, ensuring excellence in dining services and operations.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and quality across all hotel areas.
- Monitor and manage the hotel’s financial performance, including budgeting and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Engage with guests to gather feedback and continuously improve the guest experience.
- Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to effectively promote the hotel.
- Oversee staff training and development, ensuring a skilled and motivated team.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or in a similar leadership role in the hospitality industry.
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience and expertise in Food & Beverage management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Robust personality with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- High level of organizational and multitasking skills.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Greek is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of financial management and budgeting.
