We are seeking for a “Customer Service Officer” with self-motivation, customer service orientation, positive and team-play mentality, to join our “Customer Care” team, in Piraeus office.  

 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate internally and/or respond to customer queries related to shipment
  • Monitor shipment according to customer status and track / trace upon delivery
  • Participate to the promotion of relevant products or services when talking to customers Record and update information on customer profiles
  • Monitor and control invoicing of charges related to cancelled bookings after empty pick-up Contact customers and manage/ coordinate system modifications when needed (vessel delays, call omits, roll over, cut & run, late VGM etc.)
  • Coordinate with related internal teams and follow up to ensure resolution
  • In case of change, check if change is possible and modify all bookings as per customer request in line with corporate guidelines
  • Give guidelines and support GBS booking desk team on all topics (process, customer profiles, etc.) if applicable
  • Extract discharge lists and check customer space allocation
  • Give priority for SHORT SEA shipments follow-up

 

Key Competencies & Skills:

  • University Degree in Maritime and/or Business Administration or relevant Degree
  • Up to 5 years of experience in the Maritime sector
  • Strong verbal/written communication
  • Excellent Command of Greek & English Language
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Sufficient geography knowledge
  • Time management
