The Sales Officer, will play a critical role in driving the growth of SirFrog Hospitality by
identifying and establishing contact with potential hotel partners. This position involves
proactive outreach, market research, networking, and collaboration to build a robust
leads pipeline and convert prospects into customers. The BD Officer will be responsible
for maintaining an up-to-date database of potential clients and working closely with the
Business Development Manager to execute strategic sales initiatives. Success will be
measured by the timeliness and effectiveness of follow-ups and contributions to the
overall growth of the leads pipeline and customer conversions.

What You’ll be Doing as a Sales Officer:
Lead Generation and Outreach
• Conduct market research to identify potential hotel partners utilizing online
resources such as OTAs, industry reports, local community network, and other
data resources
• Pro-actively reach out to potential hotel partners through phone, email,
LinkedIn, in person or other means necessary to develop a relationship with the
hotel owners
• Physically visit hotels to network with staff, gather contact information, and
identify decision-makers such as owners and general managers
•Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand
the company’s presence and identify new leads
Follow-Up and Relationship Building:
• Follow up with hotels after initial visits to establish relationships and maintain
consistent communication
• Build trust and rapport with potential clients by understanding their needs and
aligning them with the company’s services
• Develop and maintain a professional network within the hospitality industry to
support lead generation and conversion efforts
Customer Data and CRM Management:
• Maintain a comprehensive and organized database of hotels contacted,
including key details, progress, and next steps
• Regularly update the company’s CRM system to ensure accurate and actionable
data for future follow-ups
• Collect the required information for the Management team to analyze the data
• Provide reports and insights on lead generation and sales activities to the Business Development Manager
Collaboration and Strategy Execution:
• Work closely with the Business Development Manager to align efforts with the
company’s overall business development strategy
• Participate in planning sessions to identify target markets and prioritize sales
activities
• Contribute ideas to refine sales processes and improve lead conversion rates.
Data Collection and Analysis
• Collect and provide information for the management team to analyze potential
customers’ hotels, including floor plans, room categories, and historical KPIs
such as occupancy and ADR (if available)
• Gather data on ADR and occupancy rates of similar hotels in the surrounding
area for comparison
• Assist the Business Development Manager in preparing financial feasibility
analyses for prospective leads
About you and what type of skills you’ll need:
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related
field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role,
preferably in the hospitality industry
Skills and Competencies
• Strong interpersonal and networking skills with the ability to build and maintain
professional relationships
• Excellent research and analytical skills to identify market opportunities and
potential leads
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proven ability to meet or exceed
targets
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Other Requirements
• Willingness to travel frequently for hotel visits and networking events
• Knowledge of the local hospitality market is a plus
